WELCOME TO JAGAMOULAND
Jagamouland began as a simple bedtime ritual between a father and his young son.
Night after night, we told the story of a small bear with a fluttery tummy and a brave little “yes” in his heart. We added new scenes, answered one curious question after another, changed details, and wrote it all down – slowly shaping Jamou’s world together.
Over the years, these bedtime moments grew into “Der kleine Jamou” / “Little Jamou” – a gentle picture-book series about courage, friendship, big feelings, and the power of a small “yes”. Now we’re sharing these stories so that other families can experience the same cozy, heartwarming moments we have loved so much
OUR MISSION
Sharing a Bedtime Tradition
Little Jamou grew out of our own bedtime moments together as father and son.
Those quiet evenings, reading and reshaping Jamou’s adventures, became some of our most precious memories. With these books, we want to pass that feeling on: a warm light, a cozy bed, and a gentle story about courage, friendship, and a small “yes” when everything feels big.
It means so much to us to imagine that somewhere in the world, parents and children we have never met are reading these same stories, turning the same pages, and whispering Jamou’s little “yes” together.
Story by story, we hope to give families a few minutes of closeness and comfort – moments children will remember for years to come.

Jamou's Journey
Our Values in Jagamouland
1. Courage & the little “Yes”
We believe courage often begins quietly. Jamou doesn’t fight dragons – he notices his fear, takes a breath, and dares to take a small step. Children experience: you don’t have to be fearless to be brave.
2. Kindness & Empathy
Relationships in Jagamouland are built on listening, caring, and saying “I’m sorry” when something has gone wrong. Our stories invite children to notice how others feel – and to meet them with kindness.
3. Curiosity & Wonder
Questions are welcome here. Jagamouland encourages children to look more closely, ask “Why?”, and see the world as a place full of discoveries. Curiosity isn’t a problem – it’s a superpower.
4. Respect – for self, others & nature
The forest, the animals, the river – everything in Jagamouland is connected. Our stories gently model respect: for your own boundaries, for friends’ needs, and for the world we share.
5. Emotional Safety
Big feelings are allowed. Fear, sadness, excitement, joy – Jamou experiences them all. We tell stories in a calm, age-appropriate way so families can talk together and children are free to feel their feelings.
6. Quality & Care
Every page is created with great attention to detail: warm language, clear structure, and illustrations full of light. We want to create books that parents love to read aloud – and that children will remember for a long time.
